So, I bought two, one for me and one for a blog friend!

I rescue stray dogs...

Old ceramic stray dogs that is~

I've found these at flea markets and thrift stores

I'm always on the lookout for one of these little puppies sitting all by themselves

They all have they're own cute personalities

I haven't gone as far as naming them!

I'm a dog lover, however, I couldn't bring home this many real ones!

These stray's don't require much - just a little dusting

I'll always have room for more of these stray dogs!

Our family is a huge ~Bingo playing family ~ when we all get together. 

With Easter approaching, I thought I needed to complete a project

I expected to do about 2 years ago. {procrastinator here}

I have this "prize chest" that I got at Hobby Lobby ~ with the intention of decorating it. 

Not sure if they still have it in stock. 

This is how we've been using it ~ boring.

I painted it black and Mod Podged it with a Bingo theme!

(tried taking pictures of it painted just black ~ having major camera problems here}

 The Bingo cards and game images are from Tim Holtz Distressables Elements CD

The Clown Face is from The Graphics Fairy ~ I like this clown face

Inside ~ with all the prizes

 filled with prizes for all

back side of the prize chest ~ the kids will love ~ PRIZES!

I don't spend much on the prizes, no more than $1.00/each - but when the winner

reaches into the "prize chest" they think they've hit the lottery because they're a

WINNER!

We all have such great time playing Bingo together ~

the kids have a saying when they get Bingo ~ Bingo-Bango-Bongo!!!! 

 And, there's a funky Bingo Dance too!

Soon this wheel will be spinning like crazy!

 It's fun having and making these memories of our family time together, all I can say is, BINGO!

(I got this Bingo game from Wal-Mart it was cheap like $11.00 - I'm sure they still sell them!)

Thrift shops and...

 treasures ~ found

This coffee/tea set was found by my sweet *mommy* ~ at a thrift store having a 50% off sale - for $25.00, it's a very good, solid set of silver - I'm loving the tarnish on it ~  and loving my mom who found it for me!

Next, I found this set - the quality is not as good as the other set, but for the three pieces ~ $3.00...as is!  How can you pass it up!

They have this page ~ Vintage Pressed Goblet ~ ~ ~ $49.00/each ~ yikes!

Doesn't it look very similar to my .50/each ones ~ ~ ~ 

are they shopping the thrift stores too?

Today has been a Monday...

Today started as a *Monday* everything went wrong ~ then I did two things to make it better ~ chocolate cake and shopping!

Here's a chocolate cake you'll love!

My recipe ~ for the best ever Chocolate Cake:

1 box of Duncan Hines Devil's Food Cake mix

3 large eggs

1 cup of water

1 cup of mayonnaise

~Mix~

Bake in greased pan(s)

@ 350 degree's for 30 minutes

~Let cool ~

Frost with two cans of milk chocolate frosting (store bought) ~ and enjoy!

Next, some retail therapy!  I've been searching high and low for the perfect *coffee table*  I went to Home Goods today and finally brought this home ~ this table has been teasing me for several months now, first it was $275 ~ then $199 and today $175...I saved money waiting!

A rescued project!

Last week while walking the ~furry kids~ I pasted this...twice ~ my neighbor had this out with the trash.  I wanted to rescue it, but was too timid to be *garbage stealing* from my next door neighbor!

It wasn't picked up with the other trash (no sticker - my guess). When darkness fell, I decided to venture over.  I was still a chicken!  Then I spotted my other neighbor walking her ~furry kid~ and asked her to be my accomplice in this garbage stealing escapade!  She agreed {thanks again M} and we rescued it!  I've been busy painting these white for the last three days.

What did I want it for? 

I'm not putting a baby in it...I plan to use it for a Baby Shower for my grandchild!!!

I thought the stand for the cradle would be great to hang a banner!

~and the cradle - to put gifts in!

 *demo* of what I plan to do for the Baby Shower. 

Soon we'll know if our expected bundle of joy is Pink or Blue, 

and that's how I'll decorate this for the shower.

I'm loving this rescued cradle ~ I can't wait to start filling it up with Pink or Blue gifts!
