I had this water fountain that the pump stopped working -
so it's now a Succulent Fountain.
I've had great success with succulent (sedum) plants,
they don't need much attention!
this fountain is on the side of our house where we have groundcover growing
so there's not much of an opportunity to plant any flowers.
I used hen and chicks, bronze carpet stonecrop,
gray stonecrop, and plain old stonecrop!
I'm thinking the butterflies will enjoy this too!
Have a great day!

ReplyDeleteYou've repurposed your fountain and you did a wonderful job using succulents. I want to do the same thing with a birdbath I have. Thanks for giving me the idea!

I love what you did to the fountain. It's beautiful, and a great idea!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful the way you planted it with succulent and sedum plants. It looks lovely and the plants do look very healthy - mine are stressed out with all the rain and cold nights we have been having here in the Pacific North West.
ReplyDeleteHappy Outdoor Wednesday.
