Green Tea

Not what you were expecting was it...

a Green Tea set actually!

This is how it started...a thrift store find for $6.00

it's not a heirloom piece,

just one of those pieces that tarnishes like

a good quality set of silver

which made this an easy choice to make...

Paint it...

I thought about white, black or pink~

but for me, my favorite color is green!

If it was spray painting weather {not here},

i would have sprayed this...

So instead I got a can of

semi-gloss green paint and painted.

The center of the platter is painted in chalkboard paint...

Added some pink roses and it's all ready!

For our guest bedroom ~

a.k.a. The Bed and Breakfast Room w/o the breakfast!
