I spied...these placemats at Anthro...have you?
I did love them too, but I didn't get them...
I thought about it, then I thought, hmmmmm, I could probably make
my own!
I had some white, super heavyweight 9 x 12 construction paper
from Hobby Lobby ~ $1.77 for 50/sheets
and made my own version of Fine Dining Placemats.
I couldn't find a dinner plate image
but, I do like the oval frame - it makes mine different than their's!
Anthro's paper placemats are 50 for $24.00
My version is 50 for $1.77!
I'm also thinking about personalizing the center ~
with Happy Birthday's, or some ones name..
for those fancy, Fine Dining occasions that happen so often here! *wink*
How cute! I'm loving these
ReplyDeleteSeriously?? Those are spectacular Marcy, I love your version a lot more!
ReplyDeleteThese are soooo very cute! I love them!
ReplyDeleteRhonda
Those are incredible!
ReplyDeleteVery Cool! I love your idea of personalizing them.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! Could add a monogram to the center too! Cathy
ReplyDeleteWow, this is gorgeous! (Found you over at The Graphics Fairy) Great idea! Ooh - I agree with Cathy - a monogram would look awesome too!
ReplyDeleteFantastic idea, they look great.
ReplyDeleteI was going to buy them also, but then realized that they would only look good on a table if you were having a buffet, because once you cover them up with plate and utensil, you can't notice the design!! Love how yours turned out
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! Love it!
ReplyDeleteMarcy, I mentioned your tutorial on my blog today :)
